I think i took risks when i didn't out line the power symbol because it's hard to paint around it without any lines to stop the paints from mixing and trying to make the lines perfect as possible. My art wasn't original

this is Nighthawks by Hopper and is oil on canvas made in 1942 is 84.1cm by 152.4cm I'm doing my artist statement on my light project my originality for the project was not at all original but i did it because i like the outdoors and thats the only basic painting i like doing i always like to try and improve on painting it or drawing it every time. I raised my skill and got better at mixing the colors and getting them the way i want and the right color.
for my self portrait i did rasta colors in my siloet its not original but i had to do a little different media because i had to use the projector to trace my siloet and i have not ever done that.
im doing my artist behavior on my serealism project and i could have done better on takeing my time and thinking about what i was doing better and took my time.
in my artwork i have purple letters stamped close together to make it look like they are distorted. The first stamp was not as good as the others. They all have a few little whit patches because they weren't stamped very well.
I created this piece of artwork because i like how the block of rubber. I like how i can carve out the pieces that need to be carved out. when i stared working i was thinking about speakers and what people say when they are loud and sound real clear and good. What i would like the viewer to get out of my artwork would be to see that the words are a little distorted and stretched. |
